Aloha Peace Project for Preschool

We would like to invite you to partner with the Aloha Peace Project in our program that offers you and your staff the opportunity to borrow, completely free of charge, peacemaking activities especially developed for the preschool-aged child. The activities will be provided with a written “script” and all necessary materials.In order to insure good communication and high quality of a new venture, this program is being offered to only a limited number of preschools. At the present time we have openings for two more schools.

We realize the importance of developing values and habits at an early age. With this in mind, we are offering peacemaking activities for you to administer in your preschool setting. This unique curriculum is designed for you to use as you choose with the flexibility of incorporating it into your schedule in your own time frame. One of your staff members will need to be able to pick-up and return the checked-out materials to our Peace Room in Kapaa.

The program would work like this:

You indicate an interest in interacting with us for this program by calling Laura Taylor at 826-6567.

A meeting will be scheduled with Laura Taylor, Director; Teri Ceplo, Administrator; and a Preschool Representative and/or staff at the Peace Room in Kapaa. At this time the attached contract papers outlining the procedure and agreement will be discussed and the program will be explained with a preview of the activities. If all is acceptable then the contract papers will be signed by both parties; and a key to the room will be issued along with a manual and introductory materials.
